I’m not sure if this is an official track or not (because We Back Soon certainly isn’t an official mixtape), but whatever the case, “Fresh” is killer. The drum’n'bass thumping beat hits hard and Tyga and Chris Brown destroy their verses (though, I must admit, it’s strange hearing Chris Brown trying to HAM on this thing). As you can see, Weezy has virtually nothing to do with this track, he is only used as a sample, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be bumping this in this club.
It’s like the Planets of Top 40 have all aligned.

After the release of The Road To C4, though it had a couple of good tracks, was, over all, a sub par Lil Wayne release. But Weezy is back, and hitting it hard with this epic joint.
Lil Wayne has a tendency to go big, and his Inception-inspired video for latest single, “6 Foot, 7 Foot,” is definitely big.
Apparently Lil Wayne had plenty of time to write new material in prison, and here’s his first effort, and he’s got quite an arscenal of artists. Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Mike Posner, Bruno Mars, and about a billion other hip hoppers are on this. This is a good start to Weezy’s post-jail music career, and I’m sure there will be more to come.
