Eyes Lips Eyes | “Ghosts” Video
Here’s the new video from indie-poppers Eyes Lips Eyes, knocking out the 11th track (out of 12 total) from their year long no-album concept. The video was shot on location at The Cube, and at a mansion in the Hollywood Hills where the Rolling Stones are rumored to have lived during the 70s. The Cali natives came down during SXSW where we caught their insane, lively show. These dudes are awesome, so check out their hipster-glam video.
New Boyz | “Backseat” Video
Here’s the video from the New Boyz track “Backseat (featuring The Cataracs & Dev). If you haven’t already heard this in da’ club, you will soon enough! This Cali hip-hop duo just released their new album ’Too Cool To Care’ on Asylum Records, so be keeping an eye out for more baller singles.
But It’s Like Jersey Shore, In Austin, Bro!
One of the executive producers of the retarded love child of Jagermeister and HGH, also known as Jersey Shore, has created “Lost In Austin,” or, “What little self-respect Austin has left after building those giant douchey condo high rises will soon be gone.”

The Meaning of “Twerk”
Today BC and Merch are here to inform you with the meaning of “twerk”. You may have seen us use the term “twerk” on numerous occasions and ask yourself, “what does ‘twerk’ truly mean?” We are here to assist you in extending your slang vocabulary. Our usage goes back several years and we apply it to carrying out a task with vigor, enthusiasm, and crunkness. It can be used while at work, out dancing, crumping, booty bouncing, attending a live-music performance, absorbing alcoholic beverages, promoting ones self ond talents, or partying.
“BC and Merch, I still don’t understand the word and its origins!”
Urban Dictionary: v. To work one’s body, as in dancing, especially the rear end. eg: She was twerking it on the dance floor.
Online Slang Dictionary: v. To dance in a sexual manner, usually involving shaking on the buttocks.
According to these definitions, ‘twerk’ is more frequently associated with the act of combining quick pelvic thrust motions and shaking buttocks to create a highly sexual dance move. We believe the term can be highly appropriate in most any situation.
Here are some examples of using the term “twerk” in the form of song, complimentary of Chingy, Angelo Remon, Cofe feat. Cbake (DJ Bankroe) and Usher. Any questions? Class adjourned.
The Funky BK & Mr. E
We are lovin’ this fresh-electro duo, BK & Mr. E, and their awesome attire. These dudes are from Austin and spend their spare time making sick beats, mastering their funky performance, and obviously tricking out their marching band uniforms. You’ve gotta check out their new EP, and follow their silly tweets.
